About the opportunity

 

Brighton Honda Centre has an opportunity for a Foreman / Roadworthy Tester / Experienced Technician to join our team.  We operate a 5-day working week between Monday and Saturday, with a RDO during the week in lieu of Saturday.

 

We are currently looking for a trade qualified and experienced Foreman/Roadworthy Tester/ Experienced Technician to join our service team at Brighton Honda Centre.  Located in Keys Road, Moorabbin.

We are looking for someone who is confident in all aspects of diagnosis and repair, who can step into our workshop and get the job done, with no supervision.

 

It is preferred you have a minimum of 2 years in a similar position, and you have been on the tools within the last 12 months, ensuring you are up to speed and capable of keeping up with the pace of our workshop.

 

 current RWC Licence is essential.

  • Quality checks and control completed on time and to specification
  • Checking all service work has been completed to high standards
  • Road and quality test drive all vehicles
  • Confirm lube sticker and next service sticker has been replaced as well as logbooks being updated
  • Final check of the presentation of the vehicles prior to collection
  • Sign quality paperwork on RO
  • Backup technician as required

 

 

What you will bring:

 

  • A relevant trade qualification
  • RWC/LVT testing qualifications
  • Experience working in an automotive service environment.
  • A problem solver with technical aptitude
  • A strong work ethic / reliability an absolute must
  • A current driver licence
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Committed and motivated
  • Professional & excellent customer service experience.
  • A mature and positive "can do attitude"
  • A switched-on person who is good at multi-tasking
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Calm & measured under pressure
  • Experience in a similar role or within the hospitality industry.


Experience in a similar role within the automotive industry is preferred but not essential. What you do need is a solid work ethic, a positive attitude and a passion for achieving excellence.
