About the opportunity

Due to continued rapid growth, Brighton Honda Centre has an opportunity for an experienced and ambitious New Car Sales Consultant to join our team. This opportunity presents a brand-new automotive platform where you will work with likeminded individuals carving the way for the future in this new state of the art dealership.  In your new role, you will build strong relationships with customers as they progress through the sales process, offering unparalleled service to assist in their vehicle purchase.

 

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Initiating and maintaining strong and valuable relationships with customers
  • Determining customer requirements and advising on suitable vehicle models
  • Showing vehicles and arranging test drives with customers
  • Taking sale orders and preparing the contract of sale and any other relevant paperwork
  • Maintaining a high level of product and industry knowledge
  • A strong customer service focus

 

What you’ll bring

 

To succeed in this role, you will be:

  • A proven track record in selling new vehicles with previous experience essential.
  • Strong customer service experience
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills both written and verbal
  • Experience as a high performing salesperson is preferable
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong management and leadership skills
  • Excellent Negotiation Skills
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • A genuine love for people and the sales process
  • An outstanding communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to nurture positive, long-term relationships with clients, colleagues and stakeholders.
  • A proactive problem solver with a strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Well-presented, process-driven and highly organised, with the ability to flex and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

 

Experience in a similar role within the automotive industry is preferred but not essential. What you do need is a solid work ethic, a positive attitude and a passion for achieving excellence.
