About the opportunity:

 

As our highly valued Retention Consultant, you will form an integral part of our Sales team. The Retention Consultant responsible for building dealership retention through customer contact which occurs throughout the vehicle ownership lifecycle.

 

The Retention Consultant will assist service, Sales (New and Used) as well as the Finance department and, in the driveway, finance end of month/ term lead generation, lost leads follow up, database lead generation. etc.

 

This is a busy and rewarding role requiring a positive attitude and a goal orientated mindset.  You will be working toward the challenge of daily targets that when achieved, will see you rewarded through our attractive incentive plan.

 

You’ll make an impact by:

 

  • Retention through customer contact, following up the vehicle ownership lifecycle.
  • The Retention Consultant will assist service department
  • Assist finance with end of month/ term procedures
  • Follow up of on lost leads, database lead generation.
  • Having previous telephone-based, appointment-setting customer service experience, preferably within the automotive industry.
  • System and process orientated
  • A dynamic and confident individual who is passionate about customer service
  • Work effectively and efficiently in a team environment
  • Ability to work toward daily KPI's
  • Perform follow-up/outbound calls and convert to bookings

 

You will also be:

  • An excellent communicator and collaborator with strong verbal, written, listening and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive problem solver who is process-driven and highly organised, with strong initiative and the ability to flex and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to meet operational deadlines and achieve set sales targets and profit margins.
